The EU311 micromodule range is designed for direct integration within devices to be controlled, thanks to its extremely compact size. The EU311 module features one supervised input and one loop-powered output, ideal for managing call points, sounders, or visual/audible indicators.
Variants include:
EU311C: input only micromodule non-supervised for control of buttons, identifies on the Loop as a call point
EU311CV: supervised input only, also identified as call point
EU311S: output only micromodule for control of alarm signalling devices, identifies on the Loop as a sounder
Control Module, Model 55-042, is used to switch an external power supply or audio amplifier to notification appliances. In addition to switching the external power, the device will monitor the wiring (while external power is not switched to the auxiliary devices) to the auxiliary device for open and short circuits via an end of line resistor. This module is capable of Class A or Class B operation.
The control module will also have the capability to monitor the external power input for loss of power (DC voltage supplies only). This feature can be disabled through device configuration programming. If the external power is switched to the auxiliary devices and there is a loss of the DC supply, the control module has the capability of running an algorithm in which the device will switch back to monitor mode and check the line for short circuits. If no short exists, the device will reapply the external power. This algorithm can be enabled when using a DC external supply that is guaranteed to be above 9 volts.
The Relay Module, P/N 55-043 & 55-048, provides two sets of Form “C” dry relay contacts that switch together (DPDT). These contacts can be used to initiate emergency control functions (i.e., damper closure, fan control, door holder interface, elevator recall, etc.). There is also an input that is capable of monitoring a dry set of contacts for open or closed conditions. The module has a multi-color LED that will illuminate a unique color for instant status indication (Green for normal operation, Red for device active, and Yellow for device trouble).
The Fike 60-1039 is an intelligent addressable heat detector designed to provide reliable thermal fire detection using both fixed temperature and rate-of-rise sensing. It is suitable for a wide range of applications where smoke detection may not be ideal, such as environments with dust, steam, or airborne contaminants.
This detector can be programmed for different thermal response ranges, allowing it to be configured for ordinary or intermediate detection conditions. It communicates directly with compatible Fike control panels, enabling fast event reporting and system-level monitoring.
The unit features a tri-color LED status indicator for clear visual feedback and supports optional remote annunciation. Its programmable design and compatibility with Fike intelligent systems make it suitable for both new installations and system upgrades.
The Intelligent Photoelectric/heat, spot-type smoke detectors, P/N 63-1053 & 63-1059, have sensing chambers that utilize the light scattering principle to detect smoke. In addition, the detector is equipped with dual thermistors for heat sensing. The sensing chamber employs features that minimize the effect of settled dust on performance. The detector is designed with tri-color LEDs to indicate detector status. A remote LED annunciator, P/N 02-3868, is available as an accessory. It can be configured to follow the detector LED operation or be independently controlled. The heat element of the detector provides an alarm, while the photo element can be programmed as alarm or supervisory. The isolator version, P/N 63-1059, provides complete short circuit isolation for NFPA 72, Class X wiring if used with an isolator base.
