  • Simplex 4090-9116 Addressable IDNet Communications Isolator

Simplex 4090-9116 Addressable IDNet Communications Isolator

    QAR150.00

4090-9116 Addressable IDNet Communications Isolators provide IDNet communications isolation to improve installation convenience and increase system integrity. Isolation is automatically activated when an output short circuit is detected and isolation can also be selected manually from the control panel to assist with troubleshooting wiring problems. Isolators power-up in isolation mode and are directed to connect by the control panel. If the output wiring is acceptable, the isolator will connect to the rest of the circuit. If the output wiring is shorted, the isolator remains isolated. The isolator reports back to the panel when it is in isolation mode and the extent of shorted wiring is reported back to the panel by identifying device addresses that are not communicating. [Isolators are assigned sequentially to low number addresses to expedite SLC power-up.] During installation, earth faults frequently occur. Finding these faults normally requires extensive wiring disconnection. With the 4090-9116 Addressable IDNet Isolator, earth faults on the IDNet communications lines can be quickly located to assist in their repair and to restore the system wiring to normal.

  • Simplex 4098-9714 TrueAlarm Photoelectric Smoke Sensor

Simplex 4098-9714 TrueAlarm Photoelectric Smoke Sensor

    Description

The Simplex 4098-9714 is an addressable photoelectric smoke sensor designed for use with Simplex IDNet and MAPNET II two-wire communications. Using TrueAlarm analog sensing technology, the detector digitally transmits real-time smoke data to the control unit for precise analysis and reduced nuisance alarms. This model features a 360° smoke entry design for improved detection response from any direction and built-in insect screening to help maintain sensing chamber integrity. The control panel automatically adjusts sensitivity to compensate for dust and environmental changes, improving long-term reliability. Selectable sensitivity levels include 0.2%, 0.5%, and 1% per foot for special applications, with standard operation ranging from 1.25% to 3.1% per foot depending on panel programming. The 4098-9714 is compatible with Simplex 4007ES, 4010, 4010ES, 4100ES, 4100U, and 4008 Series control units with reduced feature set. It mounts to compatible TrueAlarm bases and is listed to UL 268 7th Edition. Operating temperature range is 15°F to 122°F. Ideal for commercial fire alarm systems requiring intelligent smoke detection and panel-based sensitivity control.
  • Simplex 4098-9733 TrueAlarm Addressable Heat Detector

Simplex 4098-9733 TrueAlarm Addressable Heat Detector

    QAR75.00

    Description

The Simplex 4098-9733 is a TrueAlarm analog addressable heat sensor designed for use with compatible Simplex IDNet or MAPNET II fire alarm control units. It digitally transmits analog temperature data to the control panel, where alarm decisions are made based on programmable fixed temperature and optional rate-of-rise criteria. The sensor provides selectable fixed temperature operation at 135°F (57.2°C) or 155°F (68°C), with optional rate-of-rise detection selectable at 15°F or 20°F per minute (8.3°C or 11.1°C per minute). The device is self-restoring and uses rate-compensated sensing for accurate local temperature measurement. TrueAlarm processing at the control unit includes peak value logging, environmental compensation, and NFPA 72 compliant sensitivity monitoring. The sensor mounts to compatible 4098-series TrueAlarm bases (sold separately).

  • Simplex 4098-9755 TrueAlarm Duct Sensor Housing

Simplex 4098-9755 TrueAlarm Duct Sensor Housing

    QAR550.00

The Simplex 4098-9755 is a compact addressable duct smoke sensor housing designed for detecting smoke within HVAC duct systems. It includes a factory-installed 4098-9714 TrueAlarm photoelectric smoke sensor and operates using IDNet or MAPNET II two-wire communications, which also supply its operating power.

This model provides intelligent analog sensing, digitally transmitting sensor data to the fire alarm control panel for analysis, environmental compensation, and programmable sensitivity management. The control panel determines alarm thresholds, monitors sensor dirt accumulation, logs peak activity, and performs automatic calibration checks to reduce nuisance alarms.

The 4098-9755 does not include relay outputs (basic housing model). A clear polycarbonate cover allows visual inspection, and built-in test ports enable functional smoke testing without removing the cover. Sampling tubes are ordered separately and selected based on duct width.

This duct housing is UL listed to UL 268A for duct applications and is intended as a secondary detection device within HVAC systems, not as a substitute for open-area smoke detection.

  • Simplex 4098-9764 Photo Sensor with Heat, Simplex

Simplex 4098-9764 Photo Sensor with Heat, Simplex

    QAR125.00

The Simplex 4098-9764 is an addressable TrueAlarm multi-sensor detector that combines photoelectric smoke sensing and thermal heat sensing in a single housing. By continuously communicating analog data to a compatible Simplex fire alarm control unit (FACU), the system applies a “TrueSense” covariance algorithm to analyze both activities simultaneously. This dual-criteria evaluation allows the system to drastically reduce nuisance alarms while responding much faster to hot, flaming fires

  • Simplex 4098-9789 Sensor Base, Remote LED Connection

Simplex 4098-9789 Sensor Base, Remote LED Connection

    QAR85.00

    Description

TrueAlarm sensor bases include addressable electronics that monitor the detachable photoelectric or heat sensors at all times. The base digitizes each sensor’s output and sends it to the fire alarm control panel every four seconds.

TrueAlarm sensors use the same base, so you can swap sensor types to match each location. You can also swap sensors during construction.

When dust levels rise, install a heat sensor instead of covering a smoke sensor and taking it out of service. You do not need to reprogram the panel. The panel may show the wrong sensor type, but the heat sensor still runs at a default setting and provides heat detection at that spot.
