The SIGA-IB is a Signature Series detector base with a built-in line fault isolator for use on a Class A signaling line circuit (SLC). It does not operate without a detector and does not support the SIGA-LED. The isolator operates as follows: A short on the line causes all isolators to open within 23 ms; at 10 ms intervals, beginning on the side of the Class A circuit nearest the loop controller, the isolators close to provide the next isolator down the line with power; when the isolator next to the short closes, it reopens within 10 ms. The process repeats beginning on the other side of the loop controller.
The Edwards EST SIGA-LED Remote LED Alarm Indicator provides a remote visual indication when a connected fire detector enters an alarm condition. The device uses a red LED behind a clear lens that pulses during an alarm event, allowing personnel to easily identify the location of an activated detector from outside the protected area.
The SIGA-LED is designed for use with Edwards Signature Series detectors and connects directly to compatible detector bases. It is typically installed outside rooms or above ceilings to indicate alarm activation from detectors located in concealed or restricted areas such as duct housings or equipment rooms.
The device operates with low power consumption and installs in standard electrical boxes. It features a high-impact polymer housing and a wide viewing angle LED indicator to provide clear alarm visibility when activated.
The Edwards EST SIGA-OSD is a Signature Optica Series intelligent optical smoke detector designed for use with control panels that utilize a Signature Loop controller. It incorporates multi-criteria optical sensing technology using dual optical wavelengths and multiple detection angles to differentiate nuisance particulates from true smoke conditions. Analog data collected from the sensing chamber is processed by an onboard microprocessor that applies digital filtering and preprogrammed alarm decision algorithms. The detector features environmental compensation, self-diagnostics, automatic device mapping, and non-volatile memory storage of maintenance history. The SIGA-OSD is listed to UL 268 7th Edition and CAN/ULC-S529 standards and is intended for commercial life safety applications requiring advanced nuisance rejection and long-term stability.
The Signature Optica Series SIGA-OSHD smoke detector brings advanced optical sensing technology to a practical design that increases efficiency, saves installation time, cuts costs, and extends life safety and property protection capabilities. Continuous self-diagnostics ensure reliability over the long-haul, while environmental compensation helps reduce maintenance costs.
The Edwards EST SIGA-RM1 riser monitor module for Signature Series loops supervises 70 Vac or 25 Vac audio risers, 12 to 24 Vdc risers, or telephone risers and reports trouble on low voltage. Electronic addressing with automatic mapping and an adjustable trouble delay simplify setup. Fits a standard 2-gang box for clean installs.
The Edwards EST SIGA-SB is the standard mounting base for Signature Series intelligent detectors. It connects compatible Signature Series detectors to the signaling line circuit (SLC) and provides room-side accessible wiring terminals after installation.
The SIGA-SB supports connection to a SIGA-LED remote alarm indicator and is designed for use with the Signature Loop Controller. It mounts to a variety of North American and European electrical boxes, supporting flexible installation scenarios in commercial fire alarm systems.
The base is constructed of high-impact engineering polymer and is suitable for environments up to 120°F (49°C) and 93% relative humidity (non-condensing).

The Edwards G1AVRF is a wall-mount horn-strobe notification appliance from the Genesis LED G1 Series The device combines an audible horn and visual LED strobe within a compact low-profile housing.
The unit features selectable strobe outputs of 15, 30, or 75 candela and configurable horn settings including high or low sound output and temporal or continuous tone operation. Genesis LED appliances use high-efficiency LED optics and electronics to reduce current consumption compared to traditional Xenon strobes. Strobes can be synchronized across compatible NAC circuits when used with Edwards synchronization sources.
The G1AVRF mounts to standard electrical boxes including single-gang, two-gang, 4-inch square, or 4-inch octagon boxes. Field configuration switches allow adjustment of candela output and horn settings without removing the device from the wall.
The Edwards SIGA-IM2 Isolator Module is an addressable device that protects a signaling line circuit (SLC) from a to wire-to-wire short. The SIGA-IM2 module monitors line voltages and opens the data to detect a short, isolating the short between the two modules located closest to the short. The loop controller assigns an address to the SIGA-IM module. The module uses one detector address on the SLC.
Fiber optics communication links provide a high level of immunity from electrical noise. The circuits are power limited and suitable for use through hazardous atmospheres. Fiber optic circuits also provide a high level of security and are resistant to the effects of moisture. The choice of either single mode or multi mode fiber links is one of cost vs the distances between nodes. System performance is identical with either single or multi mode fiber.
Note: The 3-FIBMB2/MMXVR is compatible with 3-FIB(A) multi mode fiber modules.
The SMXLO2 standard output single mode transceiver is suitable for distances up to approximately 8.7 miles (14km). The SMXHI2 high output single mode transceiver is available to span distances up to approximately 24 miles (40km).
For multi mode applications, the MMXVR transceiver is suitable for distances up to approximately 8,000ft (2,400m) Actual distances are dependent on the losses in each fiber optic circuit, and should be calculated for each installation. One transceiver is required for each fiber side of both network and audio links. Simply order the required type and number and type of transceiver(s) for your application.
